The tour is mostly driving around with the guide pinpointing places of interest,the only stop off's where the Eiffel Tower and the Seine boat cruise,Notre Dame and the Sacre Couer.Would've liked more stop off time,lunch at Eiffel restaurant was not good value-you place your own orders to the kitchen,whilst the waiting staff stand around!Food comes in tubs-not plates.

Tour guide got lost with us in van looking to pick up others. We rode on the sidewalks near shopping that van couldn't drive through. bars at all the end of the streets. had to ask for help to get out of area from local restauranteur. we waited 45 min at eiffel tower to meet the other tour group which was awful since it was cold. we found out later that the other tour group went ahead of us and didnt wait at all. our tour guide tried feverishly to reach the other group by phone but to no avail. it was interested but on the whole at least we got to see most of what we were interested in.

We were late arriving at the meeting point. The bus had already left. The person at the office helped us get a cab to meet the group.The cab driver was great and got us there on time. The tour guide Sophie was great and we especially enjoyed the evening bus tour .great job guys.

Our bus was enclosed which we were a bit dissapointed about. There are great tour buses that have open tops so you could take better pictures while sightseeing. Would be nice to have known that before we booked. However, it was a hot day and the air conditioning helped for our children. The tour guide was very nice and informative. The sites were so quick....would have been nice to be able to get off and take pics for a moment but way too many passengers I guess. All in all it was an acceptable tour for the price.

We had a good look around Paris and saw more than we could if we did it ourselves as we were not there for long, unfortunately there was a strike at the Eiffel Tower but the tour went to Mont Matre instead so that was great

Già nel corso di un altro viaggio a londra avevamo acquistato a un’escursione con citydiscovery e l’ottima esperienza ci ha spinto a rifarlo a parigi. Questa volta però il livello di soddisfazione non è stato lo stesso a dire il vero. Visita eccessivamente frettolosa, in particolare a montmatre, guide “nervose” e non particolarmente cordiali. Senza dubbio è da consigliare se si vogliono vedere tra i principali capolavori presenti nel louvre, per una questione di ottimizzazione dei tempi, ma a montmatre, se si desidera, ci si può andare tranquillamente da soli.

very nice. just at the montmartre, i think that tey should tell u that is possible to step to the dome. It's is payed (u have to pay to scale the spiral stair with 400 steps), but the view is awsome! and at the louvre after the guided visit (just the 3 principals) go to the egypt part by you own!

This tour is very helpful when you have limited time to see Paris. You see all the highlights of Montmartre and the Louvre. A bus takes you from the Cityrama office at Rue des Pyramides to Montmartre. You take a short walk up a hill to get the flavor of the area. We passed through Place du Tertre (although it would have been nice to stop for a bite to eat since there are many bistros around the square), stopped at Basilica of Sacré-Coeur and saw the spectacular view of Paris from the street (I would have liked to climb the stairs and see the view from the top, but the tour did not provide time for this), we rode the Funiculaire to the bottom of the hill where the bus picked us up and took us to the Louvre. We passed each of the glass pyramids. I had no idea that there is a shopping mall beneath the street level. Apparently, as they were excavating to create this area of the Louvre, they discovered considerable medieval remains of the castle that occupied this site. This has been made part of the museum. The tour guide took us through the history of the Louvre starting with this castle. It was fascinating. She then proceeded to take us to the Venus de Milo, Winged Victory, and Mona Lisa. Along the way to each of these works of art, she would discuss the architecture of the building and the works of art that we passed. The tour ends at the Mona Lisa and you are free to tour the Louvre on your own. This tour was very worthwhile and I recommend it.

Very upset that the bus left me at the river cruise and said get your own way back. I asked where the closest metro was and she waved to the Trocadero -many, many steps later I got there. very poor satisfaction with that aspect

Unfortunately our pick-up was 20 minutes late & as a result the show had started by the time we got there & we were seated right up the back with a restricted view. The so called 'champagne' was cheap & nasty & we were unable to drink it.

Great walking tour. Not for people who can't handle walking up hills. We got lucky and since no one else booked during our time we got a private tour !! The guide was very good and knowledgable. Loved it !!

Full on inforamtion, but if you could spend at least 5 mins in the places that you stopped to browse that would be great, So if you saw something that you wanted to buy you could, as not always easy to find that little special shop you saw on the tour guide

Very hilly. Can be quite strenuous. The area has many interesesting sights you may not otherwise see. The guide is quite well informed and easy to understand. This is the very best way to see the Montmarte, up close and personal!

Pick-up and drop off was excellent for us, as we were not close for the early morning departure. Bus was comfortable and information given was excellent. Lunch was satisfactory (a smallish serving for men)and tour was great. Only negative was place chosen for stop - using the entire stop time on insufficient toilets for women from several buses. A great day at an extraordinary place.

In fact it was really interesting to have dinner while seeing the most famous places in Paris .However, we were very conservative about the food (quality & quantity) . Another point worth to be mentioned that we suggest giving the attendants brief information about places they see while cruising in addition to the brochure.

Loved every minute of the cruise, four of us went we could not fault the service, the waiter, or the food two of us are vegetarians and one of us cannot touch fish! nothing was too much trouble, the chef catered for our needs perfectly. The waiter was lovely, if we were younger we would have fallen out over him! Just Fab! you must go!

I think we were ripped off on this one. We paid a premium price for entry tickets into Disneyland Paris including the bus transfer. We had to get ourselves to the tour office via Metro which was no where near the hotel we were staying in, then travel to the park where were with one and a half hours too early - the park opens at 10.00am and we had arrived in the cold morning air at 8.30am! We found the park fun but busy as it was still warm weather. We don't have kids either, so maybe this affected our overall Disneyland experience. We went on a few rides but the lines were VERY long - some waits were over 45mins. The bus drops you off at the park and you are required to meet in the car park 12 hours later. We had done everything we wanted to do by lunchtime, and the sky was overcast and just before it started to rain, we decided to abandon the return bus ride home and spent MORE money on a train back into Paris city. Unfortunately not a great experience for us, but I would still recommend this option for a family that might make use of the full twelve hours at Disneyland.

Historic Paris and Notre Dame Cathederal was much better than the afternoon tour. tour guide in morning was very knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting. Afternoon tour disappointing as this company does not take you up the Eiffel tower but up another tower instead. Views were good, but guide then left us at river cruise that finished near Eiffel tower. At completion of river cruise back at Eiffel tower no one was there to give direction back to accommodation. We were unsure of how to get back and after quite a while found a metro station and made our way back to our hotel.

I would like to inform you about my surprise due to the repeated river cruise within the same tour. Reason for that is actually that these are separate tours with a 1.5 hour time gap between them with different guides. This is something what I did not expect. When you are only 2.5 days in Paris, you do not want to waste your time by repeating some tours and having long time gap in between them, and not having time for something you wanted to visit. Paris is the most beautiful city in the world and it is pity if organized sightseeing tours can spoil that experience. Hopefully, this comment will help in sightseeing tours improvement. The historic Paris was poorly matched to the Seinorama. While the Seinorama was an excellent trip it showed up the earlier trip to have been a waste of time. Further more after being issued with the wrong tickets for the afternoon it was a shame that the office staff took such an arrogant attitude almost implying that it was our mistake that they had given us the Louvre and Montmartre trip in the afternoon by mistake. This meant we wasted about 25 minutes of our lunch break while they sorted out their mistake while being rather short tempered with us.

We booked a german speaking guide and he -Christophe - was really a piece of gold. We prepared ourselves with clothes out of the fifties and took many wonderful pictures. But I have to say that I was not comfortable with the catering. Because there was nothing offered. We had had about 30 degrees and there were not even drinks. We ask the guide about catering, but he was not prepared. So we felt impelled to buy something to drink. First I thought I had misunderstood the offer, but now CityDiscovery asked me if I enjoyed the food...

It is the first trip for our family of 7 to Paris and it was a great choice signing up for a one day trip to Loire Valley which my initial motivation to sign up was the wine tasting and home cooked food by owner of the Chateau. It was also a good get away from Paris into the France countryside and though it was abit rush having to rush through 3 castles but one cannot complain when you have to cover so many items in a day. The lunch and wine tasting at the chateau was a bonus and we thoroughly enjoyed that experience. I highly recommend this tour to those who are first timer . Julie Koh Customer from Singapore
