What To Expect
Spend an afternoon discovering the hotspots of Paris comfortably with hotel transfers via a luxury airconditioned coach.
First on the itinerary is a self-guided tour around the streets of Montmartre. This area is considered a popular cultural center in Paris. Locals and tourists gather around this hill to visit the Basilica, admire the art of the painters in Place du Tertre, or bring instruments to play at the foot of the Basilica in the evening.
On your visit to the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris, you will discover that this church sits at the highest point in the city. Built for 39 years between 1875 and 1914, this basilica was funded entirely by private donations. This basilica holds the world record of the largest mosaic of Christ in Majesty on its apse. Among the many ornate structures of this basilica are its vast array of stained glass windows, the church bell tower (the largest and heaviest in the world weighing 19 tons) and its beaming white-colored exterior attributed by the Château-Landon stones used for its construction.
After your visit to the basilica, it would be of great pleasure if you visit the Place du Tertre, an area in Montmartre where several artists stand by to paint or sketch tourists or sceneries. Various retail shops, restaurants, and cafes are also located in this area for both tourists and locals to enjoy. This area was once the gathering place of the famous 20th century French painters, composers, and poets.
Next on the itinerary are transfers to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower. Marvel at the sight of the whole city of Paris beneath your feet. The second floor of this structure gives every tourist the perfect view of the city. From here, you will be able to see the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris and the long stretch of the Seine River. A glass viewing panel is available on the second floor to give you a dizzying look below.
After the Eiffel Tower tour, you will be transported to a boat that goes around the Seine River. During this cruise, you will be able to set sights on the famous structures in the city such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, Pont Neuf (oldest bridge in Paris), Louvre Museum, and the Grand Palais.
This trip will be concluded with transfers back to your hotel in Paris.
