Versailles represents a reminder of the grandeur of classical French architecture. The extravagant decoration and layout of the entire site reflect the will of King Louis XIV, known as the Sun King. In the beautifully decorated State Apartments (Hall of Mirrors and Queen’s apartments) your guide will enthral you on the life of the Kings.

This tour allows you to skip the line. Spend more time exploring the castle and avoid the queue.

Chartres
Recognized as a World Heritage site by UNESCO, the Chartres Cathedral is still today an important centre for Christian pilgrims, famous for its stained-glass windows and wonderful colours dating back to the 12th and 13th centuries.

The tour will take us through the southern districts where we join the motorway. The route leads us to the Beauce region where the long stretches of wheat fields give this part of the country the reference: "le grenier à blé de la France" or France's bread basket.

There will be a guided tour upon our arrival at Chartres. The amazing collection of stained glass windows and statues is a must for all medieval art lovers.

- For this tour, child rate is applicable from 4 to 11 years old.
- This tour is only available during the summer
- We suggest a good pair of walking / flat shoes to avoid discomfort. No high heels.
- Pushchairs are forbidden inside the Versailles palace.
- During the summer weekends, the garden’s fountains are on full display. Tickets to enter the gardens (8€) are not included in the tour.
- On Sundays and during mass, the guide will conduct the commentary outside the Cathedral.
