This being my first time in Paris I wanted a overview of the city monuments.I pick City Rama for this and hotel pick-up.I received a young frenchman name Francois Vidit as my guide.I had some general knowledge of France,but Francois taught me more in 3 hours than any history book.This tour will always stick in my mind on my first tour of Paris.Plus the bonus was seeing the young mind of a animated frenchman today. Tour guide showed us more than what we signed up for as we travelled to the specific destination. Explanations given were adequate and not overly informative. It helps that she has a nice and warm personality.

I was VERY disappointed in this tour. The speaker system in the van was not working. We did ask him to speak louder but he did not. The back of the van was stuffy, so we asked for the air conditioning but he didn't seem to know how to work it. We would have opened the window but one of the passengers was having allergy problems so we couldn't. The guide did not assist us out of the van, even though it was obvious two of us had knee problems. He offered very little background information. .We got more from our taxi driver from the airport. My husband and I took a similar tour a few years ago and were very pleased(from Citirama).I have never complained before about a tour before and have always given a tip...not this time.I do not think this guide wanted to be there.
