WE were picked up 30 minutes late. There was a French Couple on the tour , the rest being English speaking and as all explanations were given in English and French, quite a lot of time was waisted

Our tour guide was very unprofessional and downright strange. Not only did she not give us much information on what we were seeing, but she wouldn't even open her eyes when she talked to us and she practically ran from site to site, not bothering to make sure the group was together. Her English language skills were also lacking. She never asked if we had any questions and didn't really want to answer us if we asked her any. I'm not sure where you found her, but she's the worst tour guide I've ever had.

If you are looking to do something outside of the city of Prague that is historically significant, then definitely go on this trip.

I was not told that I had to call the local office to confirm that we were going to be on the tour and so luckily I called and they sent a minibus to pick us up. We did enjoy the trip but having to wait on the pavement outside our hotel for an hour and then being subjected to some grand prix driving before getting on the boat was all a bit much. I won't be booking any further trips with City Discovery - which is a shame as I travel a lot.

I enjoyed this trip very much - the old part of the brewery was very interesting and the factory shop at the Nizbor was good for cheap gifts. On this trip our guide was very informative and I saw some of the country side of the country which was a big bonus - thanks very much (Oct 2009)
