This interesting half day tour takes you to discover the city of Puerto Plata and its history. Visit the country's largest rum factory and ride along the Malecón Avenue to the oldest fortress of the Dominican Republic.
Afterwards, enjoy a stroll along the streets graced with beautiful Victorian style houses, until you arrive at the Amber Museum, where you will learn about the history of one of the country's precious stones and make special purchases.
After this you will ride up to Mt. Isabel de Torres, a verdant mountain reaching a height of 2,600 feet. The cable car will take you up to the peak, from which you will see the huge Christ sculpture and magnificent gardens.
