I would very much recommend this tour for its organisation, helpful and informative staff. In first occasion, the tour was cancelled due to unfavourable weather condition, then it was rescheduled promptly for the following day. Again we didn't manage to see the light. Third time, we were lucky to see Aurora Borealis glowing its green and red colours as in the photos attached. It was definitely a memorable experience that a must do. JB

I found the first 2 stops pointless, a 10 minute stop for 'fresh air' at the start of the trip, and then a 45 minute stop at a garage. Perhaps starting the trip an hour later would avoid the above.

As there is no guarantee that you will see the northern lights, it was good that we could try again at no charge. An audio/visual presentation explaining the science behind the northern lights would have helped to fill in the time on the way out and back.

We had a great time and the guide was very helpful and informative. We were very lucky and saw an amazing display of the lights, we watched them for at least 1 and a half hours and only had to stop because it was too cold to stand outside any longer. Lynn and Andy

The tour was very well organised and informative about the lights, with excellent and helpful tour guides. When the tour was cancelled due to bad weather, it was promptly rescheduled for another day, and if we didn't see the lights, we could go again on another night until we did. And I did see them!! On the occasion when w didn;t see them, I still managed to get some nice night shots.

The hot water springs are a must see. That alone is worth the trip to Iceland. The nature of Iceland is beautifull. The tectonic plates are visible as the only place on earth. I guess, interesting if you are into those things. The waterfalls are nice, but if you have seen them somewhere else, not that spectacular.

Pick up from hotel worked well. Our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. We felt very safe with our driver. This was a great way to see quite a large area of Iceland on our short city break

It was really good that the guide took us to a couple of extra places, when the weather turned sunny;-) When booking the trip I was told the whole trip would last for 8 hrs (from 0830), but we were not back untill 1900, making it a very long day for my 12 year old niece.

The weather really made the day for us. Blue sky and sunshine! Wind was particularly cold at Gulfoss - we were well wrapped up, but others on the trip didn't seem adequately prepared and couldn't make the most of the trip.

The timing served us well and the shorter trip allowed us to see the main sites with reasonable time at each. We were pleased not to be subjected to prolonged eating and shopping time as on the longer day trips. Good driver/Guide.

Doing this tour in the evening was the best thing we did. Others we spoke to who did the day tour described some attractions as like a 'sausage factory' In the evening you have more time and less crowds and since in high summer it doesn't really get dark theres no issue. Our guide was brilliant, even gave us the football scores update, she had lots of information not just about the sights but on many other topics of icelandic culture an politics. It kept us awake on the longer parts of the tour. The three main attractions are must sees - we also managed time to fit in a visit to a volcanic crater!

Great, inclusive tour. Our guide was very informative and even took us to a few extra stops (a 2nd waterfall and a volcanic crater filled in by a lake). This tour is a wonderful way to see some of the natural beauty of Iceland in a short period of time. It was well-organized an on-time.

Fun and a guard was very helpful when I was waiting in the cafe near the water & husband was waiting in the other cafe. The guard checked the men's dressing room to see if my husband was there and when he wasn't, he found him in the other cafe. We need to work on our communication re where to meet. Perhaps this might confuse someone else?

The idea is great! It was fun and challenging. But the guide wasn't able to put a full sentence together. Real shame... The cave is great, but the guide should at least have 10 minutes of training before taking a group there.

Riding the gentle beautiful viking horse was an unforgettable magic experience. The trip by City Discovery was wonderfull, I'll go riding next year again! Geysir and Gulfoss were unique; also our tour guide was telling the most intersting stories. A marvellous trip all in all! THANKS!

The Icelandic horses are beautiful creatures and are well worth experiencing up-close! The horse back riding part of this tour was very relaxing and the scenery, beautiful. As part of the group was more experienced than others, we really liked the fact that the guides split the group in 2, to allow the more advanced riders an opportunity to gallop away, whereas the less keen continued at a walking pace! The only issue we had is that the bus to the Blue Lagoon was delayed by an hour, so we were quite rushed once there & didn't feel we got to enjoy the milky hot waters long enough.

People at the stables were very welcoming and everything was organised smoothly. The only tiny minus was that the route we rode was same both ways. It could have been a round route maybe. After riding the Blue Lagoon was a wonderful relaxation!

A wonderful trip, we really enjoyed it! The horse farm and the horses were really lovely and the staff there really friendly and helpful. The Blue Lagoon is magical, would certainly recommend the latest (7pm) bus back to make the most of it. The restaurant there is superb, I had the seafood soup and fish of the day combo - out of this world!! The only slight critisism would be the fact that the Blue Lagoon bathing fee is not included in the price of the tour. We are very fortunate so this was not a problem but might be an unpleasant suprise for people on a budget as it amounted to an extra £74 for the two of us!!

First of all, I have to commend our guide Dori. He was incredibly knowledgeable and provided thorough commentary. But he was also really approachable and fun. And the tour itinerary is stunning. Two waterfalls, a short glacier hike, and a black sand beach I'll never forget.

It was a really nice trip, the journey was really beautiful. Because it was winter we could not get as close to the waterfalls as we would have liked (too much ice), one of them you can walk around the back but it was too icy to do this. The bus driver with Icland Excursions (Johan) was the highlight, he was funny and kept us entertained throughout. One problem with the half day is that you do not get to spend too much time at the places and it seems that toilet breaks are longer than time at the waterfalls.

We took on this snorkeling adventure with a mixture of trepidation, worry, excitement and disbelief - who goes snorkeling in 2' waters in the middle of winter!!?? Well, the teddybear suits and dry suits managed to quell some of those fears and the utter peacefulness and clarity of the waters, made everything else dissipate. Would highly recommend that part of the tour (although, my Goodness, our hands were cold!!! and you do have to change into and out of those suits in the parking lot - there's no shelter there at all!!). The caving portion, although very well guided and led by Gilli, I found the cave to be less impressive than imagined. I had hoped for a more challenging cave experience with menacing crevices, depth and tighter squeezes :)! But overall, there's nothing like this offered anywhere else so totally enjoyed it!
