What To Expect
Get to see and experience the different sights and adventure opportunities that Iceland has to offer!
Departing at 08:00, we'll take you on a rafting adventure down the glacial waters of the Hvita river. Afterwards, we'll stroll you through the popular sights of South Iceland, commonly known as the Golden Circle. You'll see the famous Geysir spew out boiling water to heights of up to 70 meters in the air, stand a few feet away from the majestic Gullfoss river and walk through the birthplace of the oldest still existing parliaments in the world at Thingvellir National Park. Back in Reykjavik by 19:00.
Leaving at 08:30, we'll visit the Sólheimajökull glacier and take a hike along its ever changing terrain. See amazing ice formations, sink holes and ridges along the way. You can also try ice-climbing (optional). As the day ends, we'll stop by the Skogafoss waterfall for a relaxing stroll. Return to Reykjavik by 18:00.
We'll start the day at 09:00 to re-visit the Thingvellir National Park to explore the caves and even snorkel in the pristine waters in the area. In this area, lies a point where the North American and European tectonic plates meet. You can take a dip in the surprisingly clear waters here. Return to Reykjavik by 15:00.
Stretch your legs on a hiking trip on day 4. Leaving at 08:30, we'll take a fairly easy trek on a path on the Reykjadalur Valley where there is an abundance of natural hot springs. After a fairly easy hike, you can bathe in the hot springs. Afterwards, we'll proceed to Eldhestar farm for a horse-riding trip around the farm. Return to Reykjavik by 17:00.
On your last day, at 09:00 you will get to ride an ATV (or Quad bike) through lava fields and get a chance to explore the hills and mountains on the outskirts of Reykjavik in the morning. At 14:00, you'll visit the Blue Lagoon for a relaxing swim in mineral rich waters - a perfect, relaxing way to end you 5-day adventure! Return to Reykjavik at around 19:00.
