What To Expect
Know more about one of the darkest parts in Latvia's history as you explore the corridors and rooms of the former KGB headquarters in Latvia. The Corner House located in the center of Riga served as the headquarters of the KGB from 1940 to 1991 when Latvia gained its independence. The building now serves as a memorial to all those who suffered within its walls.
As you go around the house, you will be given an informative tour of the building's rooms. You will get to see the office spaces used by the KGB investigators, the cells, the lift for the prisoners, the exercise area and the infamous basement with its holding cells and interrogation rooms. Get a chance to witness and acknowledge this dark part in history.
