I ordered a 48 h valid ticket. However, due any reasons we couldn't use our ticket the 2nd day, because the busses are didn't operate. This was very well known on the 1st day as we exchanged our voucher against tickets, but nobody informed us or gave us our money for the 2nd day back. This was terrible!
Dr. Rainer O., Germany

We found that buses werent any where near as regular as every 15 minutes we must have waited 45 minutes at one point for a bus to come - this didnt seem to be the case with the other tour company buses. Also the downstairs windows were covered in a fine meshing so you couldnt see out of them very well.

great tour guide too

The Tour guide Vincenzo is exceptional. I have a background in HR, and if we could have tour guides of this calibre in Australia, we would be second to none !!! Vincenzo deserves top dollars for his efforts..Well done and excellent customer service !!!

There is so much to see that you must have a guide to highlight the most salient points or you would wander forever and see little.

I really enjoyed the tour and it gave me a chance to get around everything quickly as i was short on time. Heaps of information was given and the guides were friendly. Though on the drop off i was dropped off at the wrong place and was told to find my way back to my hotel!!
Amy M., United Kingdom

Very interesting but the Guide's accent was very strong & was difficult to understand also the static on the radio was dreadful which also made it very difficult to hear what she was saying so unless you were immediately in front of the Guide it was not worth listening.
Sylvia H., United Kingdom

We were not happy at all with ancient guide who was just like a salesman. First he recommended to buy water, ice cream and went to toilet for half an hour. Then he stopped again at the little stall, told us the history and what was in the book, then he mentioned the price of the book also recommended us to buy it.
One American participant was not happy at all and told him off to stop do this.
Philip W., Saudi Arabia

Trip was fabulous, really informative. Only downfall was we were asked where we wanted to be dropped off at the end, couldn't be dropped at the hotel, so we asked to be dropped at the spanish steps. We were dropped about 2 miles away and had to navigate our way back which proved quite hard as we didn't know where we were!

Our guide was fantastic. She was a proud 'Roman' and was very passionate about the history and the sites. Best tour ever!!

Very interesting and educational tour. I highly recommend this tour for tourists seeking the historical truth about Eternal Rome

our tour guide bruno, was very good and made it very enjoyable.
i would recommend this tour...

This rating is mainly for the vatican museum tour which was fantastic, informative well organised. Ancient Rome sarted well but I felt that I had been misled about the extent to which the forum and colosseum were included in the tour, as we only saw them from the outside.
Susan H., Australia

Oh it was a great tour! well planned! everything was straight forward. Team helped us/explained evrything very well. well organized tour! Highly recommended! I will fly over there again in future

The bus driver was great, as was the bus. The tour guides we OK and extremely difficult to hear and understand.
John P., United States

The trip to Naples seemed to me pointless and felt we only went via Naples to pick up the guide for Pompeii, the Pompeii part of the trip was very good, but would like to have stayed for longer to look around by ourselves after the guided tour had finnished.

The dinner was great and fun!
Marie D., United States

Thank you it was very interesting and useful. Guide was wonderful.
Asta B., Lithuania

The tour was excellent and the guide well informed. The dinner was uninspiring and the singing way too loud and too close to the tables to allow conversation
Jacqueline G., Ireland

Pick up time was set to 7 am, yet leaft Rome only after 8 am, waiting for those who were late. Too little free time (less than an hour!) in Florence.
Olga S., Latvia

too little time in the city, the free time was less than an hour; the pick up time from hotel...why so long????
Olga S., Latvia

We were shocked to find so many tourists around and near the Trevi Fountain...it would have been nice had we been warned ahead of time of what to expect.
Kenneth M., United States

I would like to have known that the tour would be delivered in 4 languages. The tour guide did a good job, but I feel I missed 1/4 of the tour. Also, I was very upset that 2 passengers got left at the Trevi fountain.
Lisa S., United States

Too many people in the tour. We just have to take pictures from the bus which was boring...
Naoko F., Australia

Going to the country side residence in August is almost a health hazard. I am a 23 year old female in very good physical shape and I was feeling very light headed by the time the Pope came out. one elderly woman did pass out and was rushed outside on a stretcher. It is a very crowded and hot situation for over an hour, so beware of this. Otherwise, seeing the Pope in such an intimate setting was very special.
Melissa S., Canada

Our guide was excellent...very energetic and funny. Great tour!
Mark G., United States

Enjoyed all the tours we took, the Vatican and Christian Rome, Tivoli and the trip over to Capri. All the guides were wonderful and it made our trip truly memorable! Thanks
REBECCA V., United States

On the whole, the tours were acceptable, although just a little too long. In addition, there was a rather long up-hill walk to return to our hotel at lunch. We were not told about that. One of the guides kept repeating the same information (perhaps he just got lost in his translations.) Although most of your guides were friendly and knowledgeable, I do have to comment on one of your employees. Hadia was very rude, and told me and several others that she did not have time to answer our questions because she had other things to do. When we gathered for the afternoon tour, she put us on the wrong bus and then acted like we were stupid for being there. She went down the aisle shouting, My God and waving her arms in the air. You can rest assured that I will NEVER use your tour service again.

2 great tours and a nice lunch in between. The history on these two tours are unbelievable.
Bradley P., United States

Must do - We loved it
Schanina W., United States

The reason we took this tour was to go to the blue grotto and lucky for us, we were able to get in. Once we were on Capri we had a male guide and I do not know his name. He tried to tell me we could not go to the blue grotto because we did not buy our tickets in advance. I informed him we were told the blue grotto tickets there and that was correct and that is what we did. He still tried to talk us out of going to the blue grotto. I glad we didn't listen to him, it was great. Also, in Rome the bus picked us up late and consequently our entire group had to run a long distance to catch the ferry from Naples to Capri because the guides were so late. I felt we were fortunate to see the Isle of Capri and the blue gotto.

We attended the Papal Audience on 2nd September 2009 and it was a memory I will treasure. We weren't sure what to expect but the guide was brilliant, took us through steps to get the best seats, and made the trip into something memorial. If in Rome, it's a privilege to be able to get tickets to this audience and see the Holy Father. Well recommended tour.
Patricia S., United Kingdom

An amazing and wonderful experience.
The Pope was at his summer residence, Castel Gandolfo during our trip this August but we were driven there with a mini tour of the city along the way. The audience and blessing itself was in a very small square where everyone had an amazing personal and close view of the Pope whilst he said the prayers and then the blessing of us all.
