We were in Italy for 2 weeks and the Sorrento Tour was by far the best, the highlight of our tour. Thank you!
Inge B., South Africa

SOrrento was beautiful and we enjoyed all the more since we were at The Grand Vesuvio!!! Could not get any better.... we had a room with breathtaking view of the Mt Vesuvious and to top all of it, we were there on 15 August for the Ferragusto Dinner, which was simply superb, with great italian dinner, live music and some dancing !!!! I am glad we did Sorrento and would like to do be there again for a longer time!!!
Rajesh S., Norway

The actual time spent in the catacombs should have been longer by skipping one or two of the churches which are part of the tour. Concentration and in depth guidance in the catacombs would have been my preference.

very nice very informative

They canceled the tour before we could be there and I will need to get my money returned.

Luca was absolutely wonderful. He was personable and knowledgeable and patient and funny. He made the trip, which was a long day enjoyable, and he helped to fill our heads with an appreciation of Rome and the history of this great city. It was well worth the time, energy and money to take this trip and I would highly recommend it.

This was my favorite tour in Rome. The segways were a lot of fun and we got to see some great views of Rome.

The guide, Marcello, was wonderful and the trip was a wonderful birthday present for my boyfriend.
Gili E., Israel

Excellent tour and the guide was excellent and extremely informative. There was a lot to see and the information explained by the guide at each section made it fun and interesting.
Debbie W., United Kingdom

We highly recommend these tours excellent,we had a small group of 6 which made all the difference, the guides were very informative with very good knowledge and took the time to explain things and answer any questions. It is though a very long day squeezing in the two tours in one day, you could split it over two days if you have the time.
Jianna L., Australia

We can't say enough about our guides Luca (Vatican)and Francesca (Ancient Rome). They were both very knowledgable and interesting. They are both Romans and know their City well. We liked that the group was small so we could talk to the guides and ask questions one-on-one--no earphones! The tours were great & we saw everything we wanted to see and we learned a lot! One tip: if possible, take the tours over 2 days & not all in one day. Its too exhausting to take all that infomation in in one day.

Guide was very knowledgeable & informative & friendly.

Our tour guide Francesca was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and passionate about Vatican history. We rated the tour very highly but thought the price was a bit steep.
Helen M., New Zealand

This tour was excellent. The Vatican Museum is expansive and without a knowledgeable, competent guide you will wlk around in wonder and miss the small treasures. I definitely recommend this tour

Our guide Francesca and driver Maurizio were wonderful and the van was very comfortable. The only thing we would suggest would be a stop at the top of Positano rather than Sorrento to take a picture or one closer to Vesuvius- other than that it was a great day!
David R., United States

The tour was great, the tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The only suggestion would be to stop on the roadway outside of Positano, rather than later, and to tell folks that you would be doing that, so they didn't hike up the hillside when the views are spectacular from the side of the roadway out of town.

It was interesting but in relation quality - price it was expensive.
Rome is very dark at night...

It was interesting

Fascinating tour, although a little slow for our younger legs as quite a few of the group were older and slower! Very interesting and indepth. We would have liked to have had a little less time in the museums so that we could fit in going into St Peters. But we are going back to do that another time!
Highly recommend this trip as it means you dont have to queue, and see a lot you would otherwise miss!

Must do - We loved it

awesome, plus the remote mic and headphone system are awesome...too bad Easter holiday blocked us from access to the Basilica

The guide was very upbeat and good. He kept it simple enough for us to retain his info. The lady in the catacombs was also great.
Charlotte T., United States

Excellent tour and tour guide.
Theresa L., United States

The crypt of the Cappuchin monks was very intriguing. I've never seen anything like it! The guides for the tour were knowledgeable and entertaining. The entire tour was VERY enjoyable!

Robert was the most experienced and positive guide we ever have meet. His knowledge about Rome and subject was super!
Ewa G., Sweden

Good idea to do tour of Rome for orientation purposes. On the bus audio tour information did not always match up to where we were and did not point out many places of interest more about general history of Rome. Also head phone leads not long enough if you sat on outside seat kept pulling out of jack. Boat tour waste of money as such high defence wall very limited in what could see of things mentioned on audio tour also audio ahead of where were so confusing.
Alicia B., United Kingdom

Far too hot in a Roman Summer to travel and no airconditioning downstairs alternative, the boat trip showed little of interest and quite brief.Frequency of the company used was much less than other hop on buses , ie. the red ones.

48 hour bus tour in Rome, fantastic, the guides are really helpfull, even let me extend my time due to a traffic jam , but i took the river and boat combination, & in all honesty, the river boat ride is not really worth doing. The embankments each side are too high, so you cant see anything, and all you learn about are the bridges. Boring. Be prepared for heavy traffic, and lots of motorbikes and vespas. A brilliant tour, and i used it to get around, a real money saver.
