Excursion to Umbria (Assisi and Orvieto)

Visit Umbria by taking a route dotted with charming medieval towns. We will stop at Orvieto, a town renowned for its beautiful Cathedral. We will pass by Spoleto, Trevi, Foligno and Spello before visiting Assisi, the mystic town of Saint Francis.

Assisi is built on the green slopes of Mount Subasio and still surrounded by its ancient walls. See its narrow streets, flowered balconies and noble palaces which provide a beautiful backdrop for photographs. We will visit the St. Francis Basilica and admire the masterpieces of Giotto and Cimabue. There will also be a visit to the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli. Explore the delightful shops in the old town and enjoy a pleasant lunch in an Umbrian restaurant.
