Ancient City Walking Tour Experience

Rome was once the centre of the world, and the Roman Forum and Colosseum were at the centre of this great ancient city. Walk with us past the funeral pyre of Ceasar, mentioned by Shakespeare, and walk on stones that emperors and saints alike must have touched. Learn more about the connection between the Church and the city and find out how the two are beautifully connected as your local guide talks about the last days in the lives of Saints Peter and Paul and the connection between St. Lawrence and the Temple of Antoninus Pius and Faustina. We’ll walk directly past the Arch of Titus and talk about the sober destruction of Jerusalem and subsequent Diaspora. Not to be missed amongst the ruins is one of the most famous landmarks in the world: The Colosseum. We’ll talk about the different schools of gladiators, what place they held in Roman society, and why the Colosseum held significance not only as an entertainment complex, but how it played a pivotal role in Rome’s political climate at the time.

What if I need to change or cancel my booking?
That's ok. We will try to be as flexible as possible. But you must inform us by email of the change or cancellation as soon as possible.
