Visit the Museum of Political History. It contains a range of exhibits, original documents from the last Russian Emperor's rule, the Civil War, the Second World War, perestroika and last years. On board of the cruiser Aurora admire its might. It's well-known for the shot signaled the start of the Revolution of 1917. Watch Smolny ensemble originally constructed as Institute for noble girls and later the headquarters of communists.

Enjoy lunch in the unique restaurant "Propaganda" (popularization in Russian) decorated according to the aesthetics of the 20s that denied bourgeois way of life and pomposity. Rough and heavy furniture, homemade lampshades, metal constructions are the main elements of the restaurant interior. The color scheme is (as it quite clear) comprised of military green and revolutionist red. You feel the atmosphere of the 20-es!
Next we head you to the museum covering the years of siege of Leningrad at the time of the Second World War. Another exploring of this tour is different architectural styles typical for communist times.
