What To Expect
Day 1 Saint Petersburg
You'll be taken on a tour of St. Petersburg, where you'll see the city's most famous sites - from the neo-classical splendor of St. Isaac's Cathedral and the geometry of the Palace Square, to the oldest construction in Saint Petersburg - the Peter & Paul's Fortress and its Cathedral - the burial vault of Romanov family. After the tour, have a rendezvous with the Tsarina herself at the waxwork exhibition "The Imperial Family of Romanovs." Enjoy an elegant lunch in the restaurant serving traditional Russian cuisine.
In the afternoon, you'll visit the State Hermitage - Russia's best gallery of world art, one of the most prominent art museums in the world and definitely the main tourist attraction of St. Petersburg.
Day 2 Peterhof
Discover Peterhof, St. Petersburg's most famous and spectacular Imperial Estate. Located on the seashore, the Grand Palace and park complex of Peterhof with its unique array of fountains is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the world.
Day 3 Pushkin and Pavlovsk
See the magnificent Summer Residences of the Russin Tsars in Pushkin (Tsarskoe Selo) and Pavlovsk! A comfortable chauffeured drive will take you to the town of Pushkin (Tsarskoe Selo), where you will find a jewel of the Russian baroque - the Catherine Palace. Unlock the secrets of the Amber Room on this half-day tour. The Catherine Palace enchants and delights everyone.
Just a few miles from Pushkin lies the superb palace and park complex of Pavlovsk - this Imperial Estate was the residence of Emperor Paul I, the son of Catherine the Great, and his family. The estate's magnificent palace sits on a hill overlooking an English-style landscaped park, with a beautiful river running through it. A magic, huge landscape park was laid around the Palace of Paul I, who was looking for solitude in this quiet picturesque place. Johann Strauss performed with an orchestra in the building of the Musical Station in the park.
