What To Expect
Day 1 Saint Petersburg
You'll be taken on a tour of St. Petersburg, where you'll see the city's most famous sites - from the neo-classical splendor of St. Isaac's Cathedral and the geometry of the Palace Square, to the oldest construction in Saint Petersburg - the Peter & Paul's Fortress and its Cathedral - the burial vault of Romanov family. After the tour, have a rendezvous with the Tsarina herself at the waxwork exhibition "The Imperial Family of Romanovs." Enjoy an elegant lunch in the restaurant serving traditional Russian cuisine.
In the afternoon, you'll visit the State Hermitage - Russia's best gallery of world art, one of the most prominent art museums in the world and definitely the main tourist attraction of St. Petersburg.
Day 2 Pushkin and Peterhof
Unlock the secrets of the Amber Room on a half-day tour in the magnificent baroque-style Palace of Catherine the Great in the town of Pushkin (Tsarskoe Selo). The Catherine Palace enchants and delights everyone.
In the afternoon, visit Peterhof, St. Petersburg's most famous and spectacular Imperial Estate. Located on the sea shore the Grand Palace and park complex of Peterhof with its unique array of fountains is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the world. The park's unique fountain system was designed in the 18th century and doesn't require the use of pumps to function.
