Electric Bike Tour Over the Golden Gate with Return by Ferry

Enjoy a fun Electric Bike Guided Tour across the Golden Gate to Sausalito with return by Ferry. The tour features the new UltraMotor A2B electric bikes with the "Power On Demand" that allows riders to choose between pedaling, electric motor power, or both. The fun and informative tour operates daily and is designed for all abilities of bikers. The A2B bike provides a comfortable, smooth ride with its full suspension and oversized seat. Advance reservations are required.

After your bike fitting, safety orientation, and test drive, you'll be ready for your exhilarating 3.5 to 4 hour adventure to begin. Our knowledgeable guides will share the diverse history of the area with you as you pedal and cruise along the scenic Bay Trail. Ages 16 and up are welcome.

On this guided tour you will zip along the new bike path by the Bay to Fort Point where you can enjoy a snack at the Warming Hut before proceeding up to the bridge. Then, just kick up the throttle on your eco-friendly electric bike and enjoy the effortless ascent to the Bridge without breaking a sweat.

Take in the panoramic views of the City and the Bay as you bike over the Golden Gate Bridge! Then it's a fun downhill coast into Sausalito where you can enjoy great food, shops, and sunshine before heading back to San Francisco on the ferry boat. These cool electric bikes will make your ride to Sausalito fun, easy, and eco-friendly. The Electric Bike Tour is certainly a tour experience of a lifetime.

Bike weighs 70 lbs (32 kg) and will need to be pedaled up hills on some parts of the route. All guests will be required to pedal across the Golden Gate Bridge 1.7 miles (2.73 km) without using the power assist. Bikes are power assisted.

Electric Bike Tour Sights and Stops
Your guided bike tour starts in Fisherman's Wharf near Aquatic Park. Route features spectacular views of the San Francisco Bay while you visit and explore:

- A quick stop at the Warming Hut bookstore/cafe for a break
- Another stop at Fort Point.
- 1.7 mile of biking excitement as you cross over the bridge.

- Downhill into Sausalito. Depending on ferry schedule 30-45 minutes in Sausalito.
- Return to Pier 41 on the 35 minute Blue and Gold Fleet Ferry trip with guide.
- A short ride through Wharf to starting location

Rider Requirements and Route Info: The San Francisco Electric Bike Tour has only a few restrictions:
- Ages 16 and up. Minimum weight 85 lbs (39 kg). The bikes weigh 70 lbs (32 kg).
- All riders will be required to pedal on the Golden Gate Bridge without using the power assist.
- Guests under 18 accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Helmets are required and are provided.
- No flip-flops, open-toe sandals, or high heels.
- Guests must sign a liability waiver.
- Guests must complete rider training.
- Guests must respect road signs, pedestrians, bikes and cars for safe ride.
- A driver’s license is not required to ride a bike.
- Any damages to bike or property are the responsibility of the rider.
- No pregnant guests due to fall risk.

Child Seats / Trailers Are Not Available
No child seats, children trailers or child version of bike is available. Tour is for ages 12 and up only.

- Weekend Ferry departure time is 20 minutes later than Weekday Schedule.

That's ok. We will try to be as flexible as possible. But you must inform us by email of the change or cancellation as soon as possible.
