Sonoma and Napa counties' Mediterranean climate makes them the premium wine grape growing provinces of North America. Your knowledgeable driver-guide will leisurely lead you to and from the wine country. We will visit several wineries for tours and tastings.
Stop at Napa's oldest and most renown winery - the Beringer Winery. The tour includes an educational wine taste experience where one learns which food change the flavor of wines. The educational aspect continues with a tour of the vineyards where one can actually touch the grapes on the vine. This is topped with a picnic lunch and a glass a wine at Yountville's rustic Vintage 1870. Afterwards, take a beautiful drive to Sonoma Valley where you'll enjoy free time to explore the historic Sonoma Square before returning back to San Francisco.
