Go on an exciting adventure to the top of the Ilamatepec Volcano, a real scenic gem. It's the highest and largest of the coastal mountain range, reaching 2365 meters above sea level. The road is narrow and difficult to traverse, but there are a number of resting points. As you reach upper altitudes, the winds are much stronger and you will be enveloped in clouds.
Once you arrive at the top, you will see the emerald-green lagoon in the interior of the crater. There is also a small waterfall of crystalline water. From this point we will have an amazing view of the Coatepeque Lake, Izalco Volcano, the Cerro Verde Volcano and the Pacific Ocean. The view is just impressive!
