What To Expect
On this walking tour of Seville, not only will you see the city's main sights - you'll also learn about its great past.
Hear from your experienced tour guide about the influence that the Romans and Moors had on its development. Learn about the legends, stories and anecdotes that bring history to life. Find out where ships were made during Columbus's time and where Carmen of the world-renowned opera worked, then pick up some interesting bits of trivia about Guadalquivir River and the Discovery of the Americas.
Get to some of the most beautiful and exciting places in Seville and view them, not only from a historical perspective, but also by looking at the current city life such as we see during Easter week, in the Feria, flamenco and their pottery. The tour starts at 10:30 and sometimes we take a break for a coffee in a local Sevillian place, depending on the group.
But this is much more than a walking tour. We shall bide the time answering any questions you might have, giving you an advice about cheap yet excellent places to eat and things to do as you explore the place, which are all aimed at helping you get the most out of your stay in this part of Spain. And in case you're interested, we'll be more than glad to teach you a few Spanish phrases that might help you along the way.
