What To Expect
Take a private bird-watching tour to see the Brown Fish Owls of the Grand and Little Canyon in the Taurus Mountains. For years the Brown Fish Owls were thought to be extinct in the Western Pale arctic. There are historic records from Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Syria, and Turkey that indicate a much larger presence, but there had been no sightings until a pair was found by chance at Green Canyon.
After meeting outside Side, drive to a lake located 20 km away. Sail out on a private boat, drifting quietly through the Grand or Little Canyon where the owls are known to have nests.
