We loved the night safari, a highlight was the animal show, very cute and funny! The buffet was great, much more than we expected, came with starters, main, sweets, fruit, tea and coffee, my very fussy husband was well satisfied. Picked us up on time and arranged a separate taxi for us to get us home in a timely manner as we were in Sentosa and no one else was ba

Sandra M., Australia
Absolutely crowded, couldn't see much from train, disappointing. However coach service on time and successful. Friends who sent to zoo breakfast loved it, saw all animals and very good breadkfast not crowded.

GI WAI Y., Hong Kong
We have fun that night! Everything is perfect!

Brodie D., Australia
Enjoyed tour but certainly not as good as expected. We were expecting more free roaming animals. Was not as depicted in photos but still enjoyable. The meal was very nice with choices

Thomas S., Australia
good value

Marilou S., Philippines
Something different. Surely kids and adults will enjoy. A must when in Singapore!

Giuseppe T., Germany
It was a nice excursion, atmosphere in the night safari is particular, dark and silent. The animals come really close to the train. The guide was very good and funny. Time to discover the place was ok, restaurants inside the night safari are also very good, different kind of food (Wok, indian, grill, etc.)

Jose G.,
The first good impression was the buffet dinner included, it was very tasty and well prepared. It is the first time I could see the animals in their local habitats and all of them mention on the boards were there. it is because they fed their animals always at night,so they are always present..there were many dark trails to watch them.It looked scary but there were natural barriers between them and you. You feel they are too near and really are, also you can see them sitting in the tramcar covering all the big Zoo.They had different shows also.It worth what you pay. You will not regret.

Irene M., New Zealand
Great tour, excellent food, fun shows, and the zoo experiance great, the tour guide was the best, informative to the max, and helpful and friendly.

Anna W., Australia
This was a great trip. Although could have done with a little longer visiting the animals. Definately going to do the river safari and day safari next time we are in Singapore. Great tour guide too. Very punctual pick up and drop off.

Please let people know that a wheelchair is available at the orchid garden. A new friend missed a lot because she didn't know. 20 mins was not long enough at the stops.Especially the gem factory, I went back later to make purchases.

We had another tour -P910 and P860 Osaka to Kyuoto/Nara and want to expres our special thanks to Ms Ieko Yavota of Sun Tours for her outstanding dedication to her services and honesty

Jose G.,
It was ok to see different aspects of Singapore .

Anelli S., USA
It is a must thing to do on the first day. There would have been no time to spend time in the Indian market. To pass by would have been sufficient and spent on another location not included in the itinerary.

Thank you for introducing Singapore to a first time visitor.Mr Foo our tour guide was excellent. Thank you everyone for such an enjoyable experience.

We missed to do the Dolphin Show because we ran out of time. Set start time a bit earlier to allow all inclusions to be done and experienced. Also, the tour started much later thatn scheduled because of late tourists. While the tour guide said it was beyond her control, tourists must be told to come on time or they'll miss out. By the way, aside from her being tolerant with late comers, Linda Chan was an excellent tour guide.

Bhavin S., USA
This was an excellent tour. The tour guide was knowledgeable. When I went the F1 race was going on so there were little crowds at the Sensota island. The tour guide had to keep folks moving to make his schedule. If you are not there at the designated spot by the time he will come and look for you and wait for few minutes but will then keep going. Note that the tour requires frequent boarding of a bus, lot of walking and going up and down the stairs and boarding a monorail. The gondola ride is only one way so make sure you get the pics. The view from gondola is great. The laser show at the end was excellent and combined lasers with water and fire.

Paul J., New Zealand
The water & light show at the end of the night was fantastic

Pamela W., Thailand
Our guide, Robin, was fabulous. He would explain what was to see in each section then when and where to meet. This allowed us to see multiple sights and 2 shows. Thank you Robin!! Fabulous job!!!!

Hau C., Malaysia
We liked it. Your tour guide was nice and friendly and very helpful. We would recommend to our friends.

Naoko M., Japan
The tour is OK. But, the free time for the tourists to look around and to take photos is very limited that makes us tiring. And if we didn't make it on time in the meeting places, the bus will leave us. So, in every destination spot, we have to make it quick. We are not relax to feel and see the spot because of the given time allowance which made us tired.

Brian M., United Kingdom
Our guide was excellent. He had a very good knowledge of Singapore and a great sense of humour

Gustavo M., Australia
Everything was wonderful, the tour and of course the guide. The sea show at the end of the tour was funtastic!

Nurashikin A., Malaysia
Ms Wendy from the Tour agency is marvellous. She is knowledgable, funny, witty, kept us all together and manage the time very well. Although she could not help much on our request to find halal food, she went all out to show us where some are located. Bravo

MARIA LIZA A., Philippines
We loved the tour but my daughters think that it lacks time...we were not able to see every place in Sentosa due to so many people during our visit, but the place was wonderful! And our guide was so accomodating!

It is the Number 1 Attraction of Singapore. It is a land full of dreams. Very well maintained and professional staff are working in Universal Studios. The best thing about taking this tour is you don't have to wait in a ques for the tickets and plus you don't have to pay SGD$3.5 per person to enter Sentosa Island. This Tour guide will send you to Sentosa Island for free and directly to the Universal Studios. So i would certainly recommend this tour for everyone.

I purchased the Universal Studios Day Pass Package through City Discovery this October 24, 2011. We really enjoyed it. City Discovery made a service arrangement to pick us up from our hotel. The driver was on time and dropped us off at the meeting place to get our travel coach bus to Universal Studio. However, it was announced to us that you are own your own coming back to your hotel, but don't worry, there are lots of taxi service and public bus transportation around. The Sentosa train from Universal Studio area is free of charge to the public stations. All in all, I will recommend City Discovery if you happen to use their service to go to Singapore. There were no delay, no hassles and no dazzles, everything went well.

Our flight was delayed and we missed the tour. I was thankful that the pickup had left a note to say he could not find us. I knew that of course, but it was nice to know we had been looked for.

This is fantastic tour to experience Singapore's wonderful city by night. I would highly recommend this night tour all tourist stopping in Singapore. The service was 5 star all the way. Lorraine Mills & Christine Unger 27/1/2012

The dinner at Clarke Quay was excellent. The tour guide was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and interesting and the Singapore Sling at the famous Raffles hotel to end the night was spectacular. An absolute must do as Singapore transforms by night.

anthony R., United Kingdom
The visit to Little India was poor. A walk down an alley and back to the bus. The meal and venue sufficed. The visit to Raffles was ok , just. The music group was excellent The management broadcast the world cup at 10pm with no commentary and the bar was full of football fans. A ridiculous mistake. The management did not deserve any customers that night. I might add it did not help that England lost to Germany. I would advise visitors to do their own thing at night. This trip was poor. Apart from Raffles a waste of valuable time The day trip around the city and botanical gardens was better. The one proviso more time in the excellent gardens.

william W., United Kingdom
the rep was very informative and profesional. he is acredit to his profesion

We enjoyed the Singapore Flyer as we felt on top of the world when we reached the flyer's peak. When I booked for Singapore I was about to book for Gardens by the Bay. The Flyer gave us a good top view of Gardens by the Bay. Seeing the Gardens by the Bay on Top view was an experience indeed. Our Underwater World was a good activity too. However, we bought a flexi-pack that has 3 tickets free for two people. We have an unavailed ticket for two people. Is there a possibility we can refund the unused ticket for two. Please enlighten us on this particular status. Best of all we have returned to the Philippines with wonderful first time experiences and happy memories from Singapore. A very good option if you want to have a look at all Singapore main attractions and you have not so much time. From top of bus you can better see many things, not easily visible from car or walking. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Great fun night out we both really enjoyed it. Very prompt pick up from our hotel by tour operator and excellent guide. There were 44 in our group mostly Australians so it was laughs all night the high light being 22 Tri-shaws racing through China Town and through the City streets. I think the riders had as much fun as us. The meal and river cruise were also very good. Great value for money and a great way to finish our trip to Asia.

Fantastic night the meal was great lots to eat, Chinatown was great at night then the Trishaw ride was a great experience one of the hightlights of our trip. The Bum boat ride up the river was lovely. The whole night was well organisied with plenty of time to look around the night mrkets. Would recommend definitly

Sandra B., Australia
Great night

Stephen D., Australia
Perhaps the only area we felt could be improved was the Chinese Meal. The food was fine but just not enough . maybe just a couple more main dishes on the tables of 8 . We did the round island trip and the meal was far superior

Robyn O., Australia
Once we eventually joined the rest of the group it was enjoyable. We were not picked up as the tour group people did not have our booking claiming that we should have been on tour in June, even though we only made a booking in September the direct staff we dealt with on the phone were very abrupt claiming that we did not have a booking, suddenly they found our booking after 1/2hr of denying we even had a booking. They tried to reschedule us but our time was allocated, we were then picked up joining the rest of the tour and missed out on the initial part of the night. The guy who was running the night however was very apologetic and for some reason had our names on the list. It was a bit disappointing but the night itself was enjoyable and fun.

Donna S., Australia

The zoo was wonderful, I would highly recommend the trip. The setting of the zoo with all the lush vegetation, trees and shrubs and NO fences is what makes the zoo a very memorable visit. I loved it and would definitely go back again

DENNIS K., Australia
Very prompt pick up by the tour operator from our hotel. Tour guide spoke good English and was very professional. It was great being so close to the Orang-utans which are really well cared for and roam freely through out the zoo. The other animals in the zoo are also well cared for and in great condition. The zoo it self is great very lush and green. We had breakfast which was excellent the tour was great value for money.

Cheryl A., Australia
A little bit too rushed. If you have breakfast with the orangutans, then there is not much time to enjoy the zoo. Needs to be longer.

John B., Australia
The time at the zoo was too short, we stayed behind and caught a public bus back, the tour need an extra hour at the zoo. It also needed to arrive at the zoo half an hour earlier.

Walter T., Australia
The main problem is that if you want to have breakfast with the orangutans and to see most of the zoo, then this tour is about an hour too short. We gave up on the return bus and took a taxi back to the city

Pat S., Australia
The zoo was tremendous, the breakfast scrumptious and plentiful. The only negative we can say is, the tour isn't long enough, it needs to be extended by at least 1 and 1/2 hours.

Krishan S., United Kingdom
Well organised trip to the zoo. Guide gave us the option of following him or exploring the zoo on our own. However tour concludes at 12:30, which means the time is a little tight to fully explore the zoo.

City Tour is a must take for all the travelers. In few hours you get to see so many places which we cannot see by our own, so city tour is a must. Tour guide was very nice and the places she took us was very beautiful. Natural Orchid Garden, Merlion Tower etc.

ANGELITA C., Philippines
The very relaxing mood felt while watching the beautiful orchids at the National Orchid Garden was replicated on board the Singapore Flyer! Fantastic views of the City!

Renato D., Australia
Singapore Flyer is something I can remember all my life. However, some parts of the city tour are boring - especially the Little India where we were just asked to walk along the streets.

Amr B., United Arab Emirates
The time allowed to walk through and take pictures in each stop is very short. i think the whole tour should take a couple of hourse more time.

Shelley W., Australia
Really enjoyed the tour. My only comment would be to have longer time in Little India as we were only there for around 10 minutes which wasn't anywhere near long enough. Otherwise I thoroughly enjoyed the tour particularly the Chinese Temple and Botanic Gardens - just beautiful.

It was amazing that we sit in a big comfortable coach even there were only 5 tourists on board. We will recommend other firends to take your tours and we will join some other tours from you next time when we go to Singapore.

Rachel C., Australia
The entire trip was fantastic. We were treated very professionally and courteously by all tour staff. We were surprised that although we were the only ones booked for this tour it still went ahead but this is testament to the tour operators exceptional customer service. If we had to pick a negative aspect of the tour it was the hotel in Kuala Lumpur. The CityDicovery website advertised we would be staying at The Park Royal in KL however we were booked into the Novatel. We had to ask for a new room after checking in as the first room had no refrigerator and had not been made up properly. We werent impressed with the Novatel at all and would not stay there again if we return to KL. Aside from that we would highly recommend this tour. The places we visited were interesting. We had enough time to see everything. We were given leisure time to do our own thing. The Malacca hotel (The Equatorial) was excellent. The knowledge of our tour guide was exceptional. The meals provided were delicious and plentiful. The transportation was clean and comfortable with extra leg room on the touring bus. Thanks CityDiscovery for an awesome trip.

We have been on several visits and tours in and around Singapore for over 30 years and this particular tour was without a doubt the best we have been on. Even though Singapore is such a tiny country, to pack such a diverse selection of places to see in a one day tour is still a feat. Our guide was excellent he gave an almost continuous commentary throughout the day and interspersed it with personal insights that really invoked a sense of what it means to be a Singaporian. To find the warside gravesite of a previously unknown distant relative at Kranji war cemetery was obviously the most moving part of the day. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Wayne K., New Zealand
Really good value, you get to see parts of the Island that are 'off the track' I would go again.

ROBERT B., Australia
Unfortunately the trip did not live up to expectations - mostly due to the way that Singapore has developed and is now crowding out the island. The tour guide when on the bus was difficult to understand - he was very knowledgeable, however he constantly failed to advise us in which direction to look when he was describing landmarks or other points of interest; also he was describing what was previously in certain locations - this was hard to visualise due to the development that has gone on over the last 10+ year. He would have been better off explaining what we were currently seeing. The Tiger Bam Gardens have really passed their use by date (they look exactly the same way that I remember them some 40+ years ago; and have really have not improved). There value as a tourist attraction now adays should be questioned. Unfortunately there was a lot of dead time driving from one stop to the next - particularly going from the west coast to the lunch stop and then on to Changi - passing through industrial areas and housing areas. This is where the tour guide lost most people with his running commentary about things that use to be there. The highlight of the tour was Changi war museum and chapel - the 45 mins allowed for this stop is not enough and should be increased; as all on our bus wanted more time to look at the exhibits. Having lived in Singapore some 40+ years ago I found it interesting to look at how much the island has changed in that time. However for my wife (who has not stayed in Singapore) she found the day only mildly interesting (War cememtry and Changi). ba
