What To Expect
The evening tour of Sofia begins by boarding a coach which will take you to a pleasant drive in the central part of the city.
The most interesting monuments and buildings which can be seen well-lit in the evening are the Alexander Nevski Cathedral (the biggest one in Bulgaria), National Library, the monument of Vassil Levski (a great Bulgarian national hero) and the Administration of the President and Council of Ministers.
The former Royal Palace, which now houses the National Revival Art Gallery and the Ethnographic Museum, the Russian Church, the Military Club, the Parliament and the National Palace of Culture are also magnificent against the dark night sky.
The folklore night is in one of the best folklore style restaurants in Sofia. The delicious dishes from the national Bulgarian cuisine are combined with magic and folk dances. The return is through a different route which includes an eyesight of Sofia, the National Stadium and the Borisova Garden which is known as the biggest among Sofia parks and the Eagle's Bridge.
