Great tour! A definite must do in Tokyo--- breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji and a relaxing half a day at Hakone. Seeing the Shinkansen from the platform is amazing, and knowing that you get to ride in one gives you a very satisfying feeling that you'll get to experience it. Our tour guide Katy was really great--- very informative, engaging, and accomodating. Lunch that comes with the tour was great, too-- authentic bento box and already laid down the tables and prepared to be savoured as soon as we got to the restaurant.

The whole package is worth to avail. we're lucky on our date as the volcano's summit is showing her beauty as we near the area. The lake cruise is as expected, more of the nature beauty sorrounding the huge lake. The cable ride up is the most thrilling of them all.

Unfortunately we had a cloudy day at Mt Fuji and only saw a little bit of the mountain but the whole tour was great. We had a great lunch, cruise on the lake and took some great photos from the top of the cable car.

Fantastic day. Only had 1 day available to see Mt Fuji and this tour was a great way to see it. The guide was excellent and very knowledgeable and helpful. Due to snowfall we could only reach the 4th station but the view was spectacular. The whole day was about Mt Fuji and we were given plenty of opportunities to take photos. It is a long day but I would highly recommend it.

For myself, the only highlights were the Japenese lunch and the Shinkansen. Mt Fuji was rather disappointing and on the return journey to Odawara station to board the Shinkansen, we hit allot of traffic which delayed us around 1hr 30mins.

I made the booking via the interent the day before leaving Australia and was really impresed with the contact and pick up and drop off locations. APart from being caught in a deluge enroute to the pick up hotel, my 7 year old daughter and I had a blast. Our guide Miko was lovely and incredibly informative about the area and tour, but also provided some very interesting insights into Japanese culture and lifestyle. Mt Fuji was breathtaking - the view on the way and from the top where incredible. Lunch was fantastic and the lake ride was lovely - what a beautiful location. Unfortunately we missed the cable car ride due to the high winds, but the alternative visit to an art museum was terrific and the afternoon tea was nothing short of sumptuous. We had a terrific day and were sad when it came to an end. Miko was gorgeous and incredibly helpful. I have fallen in love with Japan, the people and landsacpre are stunning.

This is a great tour which gives a good overview of the city. We particularly enjoyed the tea ceremony at the Japanese garden and the river cruise. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided us with a lot of valuable information about the sights that we were visiting and the city and the country generally. Overall, a very enjoyable and informative experience. Highly recommended.

At first they said its expensive to have this tour, but the experience and the convenience from transportation, tour guide, and the whole tour are all great. Very nice tour! The shrine we visited (Toshogu shrine) was marvellous. The only regret is that we did not stay long enough to visit the different buildings to which we had access with the entrance ticket. The food was a nice overview of a typical japanese meal. The afternoon was dedicated to the imperial villa (nice garden and interesting house despite being mostly empty) and the sightseeing of a waterfall.

Scenic 90 minute ride to Toshogu & Rinnoji (Nikko) where you will see incredible Gates, Temples, Houses and Shrines. Good tour type lunch then to the magnificent Lake Chuzen-ji and incredible Mt Nantai. Much like Lake Tahoe in the U.S.

We only stay overnight in Tokyo, and taking this tour gave us the highlight of Tokyo experience. The tour guide did an excellent job to get as much as information in such a short period of time. We would love to see more of Tokyo, and definitely will book through City Discovery again!

Wewent up in the ToykoTower which gave us a great view of the city. We also went to the Imperial Palace Outer Gardens which we were fortunate to see the Royal Carriage which was transporting an official to the Palace. The guide was very helpful and outgoing.

The group was to big the guide repeated every thing five to ten times. like: when we go inside turm left to the elevator, turn lft to the elevator turn left.... I left the tour after 2 hours! I used City Discovery to see the sumo wrestlers in Tokyo. They made it so easy. Couldn't have found my way around without them. The only problem was.....they wouldn't let me bring one of the sumos home.

This tour was the highlight of our time in Tokyo. Everything from the tour of the Imperial Palace Gardens to the fantastic boat ride on Tokyo Harbour. Lunch was lovely and our guide Mr Sato was just wonderful & very entertaining. He gets 6 Stars!

We totally enjoyed the tour, we did 3 different tours during our visit to Japan and this one was the best. Our guide (Sato) was an excellent source of information and he made the time on the bus between sites interesting.
