Visit Kamakura, a very popular tourist destination for its temples, shrines, historical monuments. Enjoy a superb view of Kamakura and the sea from Hasedera Temple before taking a short walk to the Great Buddha, the second largest Buddha statue in Japan. After lunching at a Japanese restaurant, take the Eno-den to Tsuruoka Hachimangu Shrine, the most important shrine in Kamakura. Walk along Wakamiya-oji, famous for the hundreds of cheery trees that line it, to the shrine. On the way home, stop by Komachi-dori’s many arts and crafts shops and tea shops.

Board a local train on the Yokosuka Line to Kamakura.
Enoden Line
Take a train on the rustic Enoden Line to Hase.
Hasedera Temple
Proceed to Hasedera Temple with its famous statue of Kannon and also enjoy an excellent view of the town and Pacific Ocean.
The Great Buddha
Visit the Great Buddha, a bronze statue measuring 11.4 meters in height, at Kotokuin Temple.
Lunch
Enjoy a Japanese-style lunch at a local restaurant.
Enoden Line
Take the Enoden back to Kamakura.
Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine
The features of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, the symbol of the first Shogun Minamoto, are its arched bridge, Genji and Heike ponds, huge gingko tree, and colorful main hall standing atop 62 stone steps.
Komachi Shopping Street
Walk back to Kamakura Station via Komachi Shopping Street.
Back to Tokyo
Take a local train on the Yokosuka Line back to Tokyo.

- All seatings on the trains is non-reserved seats and that it may not be possible to sit down.
- Please dress casually and wear shoes comfortable for walking.
- For operational reasons, your tour guide may not accompany you back to Tokyo after Kamakura Station. In this case, your guide will tell you how to go back to your hotel from Kamakura Station.
- The rickshaw has a canopy so that it may be ridden even if it rains. If the rickshaw ride is cancelled due to a typhoon or strong winds, JPY6,000 will be refunded.
- One rickshaw is shared by two people.
- In some cases, a bus may be used as transportation between Tokyo and Kamakura.
- Because it is extremely hot in the months from July through September, please bring your own soft drink and hat.
- Earphone guidance may not be used if the number of participants is less than 15.
- If a tour participant damages or loses an earphone guidance device, he/she may be charged for compensation (JPY 10,000).

That's ok. We will try to be as flexible as possible. But you must inform us by email of the change or cancellation as soon as possible.
