What To Expect
Experience Mt. Fuji, Japan’s most famous landmark and travel to Hakone to visit Lake Ashi and Mt. Komagatake on this two-day tour from Tokyo.
Depart from Tokyo for Mt. Fuji aboard a deluxe motorcoach. Drive halfway up the mountain to Mt. Fuji’s 5th station (altitude 2305 m), soaking up the spectacular view of the glorious mountain and its surrounding lakes. You will also see shrines, torii gates, souvenir shops as well as a few climbers preparing for their ascent.
After a delightful Japanese-style lunch, take a panoramic cruise on Lake Ashi. Enjoy the serenity of the crater lake and savor picturesque views of Mt. Fuji (on clear days), Mt. Komagatake and other surrounding mountains.
Then, take a thrilling ride on Komagatake Ropeway to the mountain summit and enjoy the sweeping view of Hakone National Park.
You will then be transferred to your hotel at the end of the day. Aside from comfortable western-style accommodation, you will also have a chance to experience ultimate relaxation and stress relief at the steaming hot spring baths or Japanese onsen at the hotel.
Enjoy sightseeing at Hakone on your own. Spend the day at your leisure and get to know Hakone beyond its many fine hot springs.
