Sunrise Holiday Inuyama 5 Days - One Way

Enjoy a breathtaking view from Mt. Fuji and relax in the historical mountain resort area of Hakone. Visit Inuyama Castle and take a river cruise. Witness the ancient art of cormorant fishing and experience the bustling city of Nagoya. In Kyoto, see the Tokugawa era shoguns’ residence, Nijo Castle, the gold-leaf covered Golden Pavilion and take a stroll through the exquisite garden surrounding it. Explore Kyoto Imperial Palace. In Nara, visit Todaiji, the largest wooden structure in the world and home of the Great Buddha, mingle with the deer at Nara Park, and marvel at the many lanterns at Kasuga Taisha Shrine.

Meals: 4 Lunches, 1 Dinner (R Grade:2 Breakfasts, 4 Lunches & 3 Dinners)
Guide: English-speaking guide or assistant service is provided except during onboard Shinkansen. (except Day5)
Baggage: Your baggage will be transported by land from Hakone to Kyoto with allowance of one piece per person on Day 2. For the overnight stay in Inuyama, we recommend you to carry a light overnight bag with you. For extra baggage, JPY2,200 will be charged per piece.

ITINERARY:


Day1 : Tokyo - Mt.Fuji - Hakone
Deluxe motor coach to the foot of Mt.Fuji via expressway. Then drive halfway up Japan's highest mountain to enjoy a spectacular view from a height of 2,300 meters. Enjoy Japanese-style lunch.

Afternoon, visit to Hakone for a cruise on Lake Ashi (Ashinoko Yuransen) and Mt. Komagatake Ropeway. Accommodation at Hotel Hakone Kowaki-en.

Day2 : Hakone - Inuyama
Transfer to Odawara Station and board a Shinkansen for Nagoya. Change to Meitetsu Express at Nagoya and arrive at Inuyama around 12:50p.m.

After lunch, visit Inuyama Castle and enjoy Experience of Slipping on Kimono. After Dinner at hotel, enjoy to see the Cormorant Fishing (UKAI), traditional Japanese fishing method. (Only May11-Oct.15)

Accommodation at Meitetsu Inuyama Hotel.

Day3 : Inuyama - Nagoya - Kyoto
Enjoy Nihon Rhine Kudari (Kiso River Cruising). After lunch, Nagoya Afternoon Tour, visiting Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology, and Nagoya Castle. Transfer to Nagoya station and board a Shinkansen for Kyoto leaving between 17:00-17:30. Arrive at Kyoto between 18:30-19:00. Stay at hotel in Kyoto.

Day4 : Kyoto - Nara - Kyoto
Morning sightseeing of the city, visiting Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion), Nijo Castle noted for its gorgeous interiors, and Kyoto Imperial Palace (on Sat. , Sun.& national holidays: visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine or Higashi Honganji Temple instead). After lunch at Kyoto Handicraft Center, excursion to Nara, the first permanent capital of Japan. Visit Todaiji Temple housing Great Buddha, colorful Kasuga Taisha Shrine with 3,000 lanterns, and Nara Park (Deer Park) where many tame deer are freely roaming.

Stay at hotel in Kyoto (around 19:00)

Day5 : Kyoto
Tour disbands in the morning at Kyoto.

If Kiso river rises due to heavy rain, "Cormorant Fishing" on 2nd Day can not be operated and visit "Traditional Japanese-style Windup Doll Museum" instead.
We recommend you to prepare casual clothes and comfortable shoes for walking on Day2.
In winter season (Dec.1 - Mar.9), or if Kiso river due to heavy rain. “Nihon Rhine Boat Cruise” is not operated and tour visit “Atsuta shrine” and “Noritake Garden” in Nagoya instead.
Please inform as if you include any tour on Day5 of Round Trip Course.

Mt.Komagatake Aerial Cableway skipped due to traffic conditions without alternative on the following days.
:May6, Jul.14-15,21-22,29, Aug.5,12,19,26, Sep.15-16,22-23, Oct.6-7,20-21,27-28, Nov.3-4,10-11,17-18,23-24.

When the driveway up to Mt.Fuji's 5th station is closed in winter due to heavy snow, you will go up highest possible point.

Komagatake Ropeway or Cruise on Lake Ashi may also be omitted or substituted deppending on traffic, weather conditions, or for other operationnal reasons. In this case, you will enjoy one in case of either of them omitted or two for both of them omitted out of following althernatives;Narukawa Museum in Hakone, Hakone Check Point, Cruise on Lake Kawaguchi, Hakone-en Aquarium, Hakone shrine, Owaku-dani and Lake Kawaguchi Ropeway. Your tour guide will finalize alternative places, based on careful study of tour movement and other comditions.

We recommend you to bring an overcoat or other warm clothing during autumn and winter.

For people proceeding to Kyoto after this tour, please note that your arrival time is usually around 21:30 but sometimes will be around 22:00-23:00 due to traffic conditions.

Even if you go up to 5th station of Mt. Fuji, it so happens that you cannot see the full view of Mt. Fuji due to the weather conditions . We shall never make any refund and also never cancel the tour operation for this reason.

There is a possibility that your tour guide not accompany you on the tour bus or the Shinkansen back to Tokyo after Odawara station for operational reasons. In this case, your guide will provide information on how to go back your hotel from Tokyo station (Return by Shinkansen), or from Shinjuku / Ginza (By motorcoach Throughout).

When “Fuji Visitor Center” is closed, or if the tour is behind the schedule due to traffic jam, “Fuji Visitor Center” may be skipped.

Nijo Castle
-On Tuesdays in Jan., Jul., Aug. & Dec., "Nijo Castle" is closed and visit "Ryoanji Temple" instead.

Kyoto Imperial Palace
- On Saturdays, Sundays & national holidays and some other days,Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed and visit "Kitano Tenmangu" instead.
- On Feb.25, Mar25, Aug.25 & Nov.25 visit "Ryoanji Temple" instead.
- You are required to fill out the form (your name, sex, age, nationality), when you enter "Kyoto Imperial Palace".
