World Heritage Hiroshima Iwami and Mythological Country Izumo 3 Days

Peace Memorial Park and the ruins of former industrial promotion hall which had been conserved just as it was when blasted by the atomic bomb in August 1945 to be a reminder of the nuclear tragedy and which became since 1996 the World Heritage A-Bomb dome. On your second day, explore by bus the recently listed UNESCO World Heritage Iwami Ginzan one of the most important silver mine for trade during the Edo period between the West and the rest of Asia. After a copious Japanese style lunch at a local restaurant, visit one of the oldest and most famous Shinto shrine complex in the region: the Izumo-taisha shrine. Whether you are taking a one-way or round trip course, your tour proposes you the visit of a former samurai residence from the Edo period and Matsue Castle, one of the few remaining castles in Japan to be preserved in their authentic wooden form. Afterwards, your bus will drop you by the Adachi Museum of Art renowned for its exclusive collection of Japanese modern paintings and the magnificent landscapes of its Japanese garden.

Day 1
Leave Tokyo by Nozomi Shinkansen
After arrival at Hiroshima, visit Atomic dome and peace memorial museum.
Stay at Hotel New Hiroden.

Day 2
Transfer to Iwami. After arrival the tour of Iwami Silvermine, the world heritage.
Afternoon tour to Izumo shinto shrine.
Stay at Matsue Tokyu Hotel."

Day 3
Morning tour to Matsue Castle and former samurai house.
Afternoon tour to Adachi museum of art.
For One-way Course
Transfer to Kyoto via Okayama.
After arrival at Kyoto, transfer to your hotel.
