Japanese Shamisen Music Lesson

The Shamisen is a traditional Japanese, three-stringed musical instrument. There are several types of Shamisen, each one used in different genres of music.

In this program a friendly instructor will teach you how to play the Shamisen. This class is suitable for those with or without prior knowledge of the Shamisen.

The class takes place 10 minutes by foot from Harajuku, a town very popular among tourists.

Itinerary / Activity Schedule
-Mondays - The Shamisen lesson will be held on a Noh stage. Most Japanese people never set foot on these stages. This setting will emphasize the beautiful sound of the shamisen and of the teacher's singing voice.

-Wednesdays and Saturdays - The lesson takes place at the instructor's house. Feel at home and enjoy the lesson.

After you book
Please print the electronic voucher sent to you. It contains the operator's complete contact details and local telephone numbers. Give the voucher to the operator on the day of the activity.

What if I need to change or cancel my booking?
That's ok. We will try to be as flexible as possible. But you must inform us by email of the change or cancellation as soon as possible.
