Walk through a labyrinth of narrow passageways in the old artisans’ quarters, past ancient palaces and at least one prison, until you reach the savagely beautiful Frari Church. Then, behind the closed doors of the Doge’s Palace and on the Bridge of Sighs, relieve tales of political intrigue and the horrors of the Prison’s Torture Chamber.
