What To Expect
Enter the old city and admire the Roman ruins and the old Forum. See the famous 'Juliet's balcony,' one of the most visited attractions of Verona, and always very crowded.
Visit the magnificent Roman amphitheater of the Arena and also Borsari Gate, which can be traced back to the 1st century B.C. We go through Piazza delle Erbe square with its diurnal market and night life, then into the quiet and elegant Piazza dei Signori square with the statue of Dante. Continue to the Scaliger Tombs, the medieval Sottoriva road, the Roman Pietra bridge and the hill of San Pietro castle.
We follow river Adige that crosses the city until Castelvecchio, and we can even reach the beautiful San Zeno Church, a masterpiece of Romanesque architecture and dedicated to Zeno, the patron saint of Verona.
