Historical Tour of Vienna + Palace of Schonbrunn

Get an insight into the old imperial city of Vienna. Travel around Vienna’s famous Ring Road, laid out in the site of the old city fortifications. We will see many structures showcasing magnificent architectural styles such as the Hofburg Imperial Palace, which currently serves as residence of the President of Austria. The Opera House, Fine Arts Museum, Natural History Museum, City Hall and other buildings can also be found in Ring Road.

The highlight of the tour will be a visit to the showrooms of the Schonbrunn Palace. The Palace was built as the Habsburg summer residence and illustrates the tastes, interests and aspirations of the Habsburg monarchs. The palace was originally constructed for Maria Theresa of Austria, mother of Marie Antoinette. It was also the meeting place for the late John F. Kennedy and Nikita Khrushchev in 1961 for a joint moon program.

On the return trip, we will pass the Belvedere Palace the former residence of Prince Eugene of Savoy before ending the tour at the Opera House.

- Guests may choose to leave the tour and spend some free time by the Belvedere Palace, which is only a ten-minute walk to the center and use the free transfer service with the Hop-On/Off bus back to the Opera House.

What if I need to change or cancel my booking?
That's ok. We will try to be as flexible as possible. But you must inform us by email of the change or cancellation as soon as possible.
