Newly reopened after 18 years, Ruakuri Cave offers a captivating blend of all the best that the region has to offer. Whilst weaving your way through the vast caverns of this dynamic natural environment, this is enhanced by walkways constructed to respect the spirit of the cave as well as protecting the environment.

- Ruakuri Cave tour times must be pre-booked, however you can choose to visit the Waitomo Glowworm Caves at your own leisure.
- No smoking, photography (including video), food or pets are permitted inside the caves.
- Photography and video are not permitted inside the Glowworm Caves.
- Child rates apply from 4 - 14 years old. Under 4 years of age are free of charge.

What if I need to change or cancel my booking?
That's ok. We will try to be as flexible as possible. But you must inform us by email of the change or cancellation as soon as possible.
