What To Expect
Who really was Fryderyk Chopin? Is he an ingenious pianist and artist, one of the most talented romantic period Polish composers, or a humble piano student who dreamed of fame and recognition?
You will find out much more about him thanks to the driver-guides of this one-of-a-kind private tour.
You will visit the Holy Cross Church, the burial place of Fryderyk Chopin's heart.
You will then visit the University of Warsaw, where the Chopins lived and worked for 10 years. Just on the other side of the street is the University of Fine Arts, which was Chopin's last address in Warsaw.
Along the way, you'll hear the story of Chopin's first teenage love. Walking down Krakowskie Przedmiescie Street, you will then see the place where the artist played his very first public concert and see many salons where he entertained his audience.
The tour will include a walk through Royal Park Lazienki up to the Chopin's monument. A live piano concert will be held every Sunday during summer.
As an additional attraction, you will embark on a 50-kilometer journey (approximately 31 miles) to the roots of the great composer, his place of birth, Zelazowa Wola. You will also visit Brochow, a small town with a church where Chopin was baptized.
