What To Expect
Explore the Northwestern and Southwestern sides of Curacao! See the rugged coast and the arid mini-desert in the Northwestern side of the island. At the Southwestern side, enjoy the lush vegetation and the alluringly beautiful bays and beaches that Curacao is known for!
The tour will begin with a trip to the mini-desert locally known as the Planes of Hato. Drive along the rugged and craggy coastline and learn about the volcanic and coral geological origins of the island. You will also see the three distinct terraces that run for miles along the coastline which can be viewed best from the Hato planes.
The next stop is a natural blowhole which sprays sea water and foam through a chute. Enjoy the breathtaking display of colorful fountains and rainbows created by the blowhole. If the waves are strong enough, you can feel the refreshing spray of the sea water.
Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch before the tour continues on to Christoffel National Park. Admire the wide variety of flora, fauna and even historic sites during the drive through the park.
The last stop for the tour will be at a local beach to splash and swim around in the water. The tour ends back at your accommodations.
