Visit the downtowns highlights like the colorful floating market, the Fort Amsterdam and the restored mansions of Scharloo, dating from the 1700's. Stop for a free tasting at the Blue Curacao Liquor Factory (not on Saturday). Then head east to the rich Spanish Waters Bay area, full of yacht's and an amazing view on the Table Mountain. Don't miss your chance to buy nice presents for your family and friends back home at the popular Caribbean Handcraft & Souvenir Shop. Driving through different residential area's, the tour will now head west. Visit the Boca Tabla Cave, one of Curacao's most spectacular sites. Millions of years of pounding surf have carved out a wide cavern underneath a limestone terrace where you can watch and listen to the surf roll in. Take the path along the bluff to the edge of this volcanic landscape where you will see the waves crash against the north coast for miles in each direction. Pass along the Salt Lakes of Jan Kok, these salt pans are home to a colony of flamingo's. Other Highlights: Fisherman villages, beach coves, hills and valleys.
