What To Expect
Eastern Switzerland stretches from the crystal-clears waters of Lake Constance across the gentle Alpine pastures of the Appenzellerland, to the Alpine landscapes of Toggenburg, the Heidiland holiday region and the Glarnerland. Known as one of the greenest and prettiest regions in the country, this stunning pocket of Switzerland offers a wealth of natural beauty for spirited adventure-seekers and nature-loving ramblers.
On this 2-day tour, visit the top hiking destinations in the region. Alvier, Beverin, Bockmattli, Kärpf, Calanda, Curvér, Falknir, Pizol, Rätikon, Rautispitz, Säntis and Zindlenspitz are well-known mountains in the region. For cyclists, the Zürcher Oberland, the Sihlsee region by Einsiedeln, the hilly Appenzellerland, and the Pragel or Klausen paths are highly-recommended.
An activity which requires good to excellent fitness levels, you will need to be sure-footed and should not have fear of heights. Cross majestic mountain passes, follow majestic trails to beautiful mountain lakes and admire the rich flora and fauna in this eastern part of the country.
After registration, a consultation will take place regarding options for extensions, grades of difficulty, meeting point and start time, overnight accommodations, deferral dates, or alternative programs in the event of precarious weather conditions. An equipment list, travel tips, and advice on maps round off the preparations.

Participants may choose to extend the tour up to three days. For a third day for one-two people, an additional charge of 240 CHF cash should be paid after the start of the tour.
When a 1-day tour takes place instead of a 2-day tour, 1/3 of the price paid will be refunded in cash.
If the tour does not take place due to unforeseen circumstance or inclement weather, 2/3 of the booking sum will be reimbursed, the rest is forfeited to cover the cost of the preparations.
Please wear appropriate hiking clothes and shoes.
For cabin stays, participants are required to bring a sleeping bag liner.
