Your Ahmedabad tour starts with a calming cup of Indian masala chai at an old tea stop in a 100-year-old suburb. The stall, now converted into a shop, has a painting by celebrated artist M.F. Husain hanging on its wall - and Husain himself has been visiting the place for more than four decades now.
After having tea, hop onto a tuk-tuk and visit the Swami Narayan Temple, known for its intricate wood carvings and columns. Admire the exquisite architecture of this temple which is dedicated to Lord Swami Narayan.
The old city of Ahmedabad was made up of 360 pols, today a hundred of them are still in standing. walk past several of these pols and get to see sites dating back to three centuries ago as you learn about the area's fascinating history.
