Come to the City Park, a 35 acre English-style park filled with various statues and a historical bridge. Pay a visit to the World War I Memorial which commemorates the heroes of the first world war. Visit museums such as the Mayer Van den Bergh, Plantin-Moretus, Rubenshouse, Rockoxhuis, Bourla Theater (a 19th century theater), ModeNatie. Go shopping for anything your heart desires at the Meir and Huidevettersstraat shopping districts. Come to the Cathedral of Our Lady Atwerp to see Rubens' magnificent paintings.

  • Stop 4:

Get to see a variety of classical French art and many more at the Royal Museum of Fine Arts, Institute of Tropical Medicine, Museum for Photography, Watergate, Museum for Modern Arts, Monument for opening of the river Schelde, and the Courthouse.

  • Stop 5:

Discover the Pedestrian tunnel to the left bank where you visit a pedestrian tunnel under the river Scheldt that has preserved its history by retaining its old, wooden escalators built in the 1930s. Come to the Antique Quarter where you can purchase and see antiques that date back as early as the 18th and 19th centuries.

  • Stop 6:

Visit famous sites such as the Market Square, City Hall, Guildhouses, Brabo Fountain, Cathedral, Vlaaikensgang, Steen (Citadel), and the Ruien underground waterway. Go on river cruises and get more information as you go touring at the Tourist Information Office.
