What To Expect
Start with a Roman escapade to the famous site of the Pont du Gard dated from the first century and classified by UNESCO. It's the most amazing and well preserved part of the Roman aqueduct which supplied water to Nîmes.
See Les Baux de Provence, a village perched upon a rock at 245 meters high, with its historical pedestrian center: the museum of santons, the Hôtel des Porcelets, a beautiful house of the 16th century, the St Vincent Church, and a pretty Romanesque building. Here you have free time for lunch on your own.
Stop at the Antiques in Saint Rémy de Provence (Triumphal Arch and mausoleum) located in a field of olive trees. This breath-taking landscape was painted several times by Van Gogh.
