Prepare for Your Adventure
Get your gear ready and head out to the sea on a boat. Whether it be for diving or snorkeling, your experienced guide will assist you along the way.
Discover Amed Reef's rich marine life such as sponges, Gorgonian sea fans, lobsters, shrimp and goby sets. Swim through the many anemones and maybe even spot Nemo!
Find white-tip reef sharks, Napoleon wrasse, Giant travelly and large schools of bannerfish, snapper, and fusilier as youd dive deep in the Amed wall.
Japanese Wreck or Amed Ghost Bay
Advanced divers can venture to the Japanese Wreck, a 20 meter steel wreck surrounded by coral bushes, sponges, and Gorgonian seafans.
Or a dive at the Amed Ghost Bay is also available to see an artificial reef filled with unique creatures.

Visit the traditional fishing and salt-panning village of Amed. Enjoy a total of 3 dives at some of its most popular diving sites. Dive at Amed Reef, home to a wide selection of marine creatures including sponges, Gorgonian sea fans, lobsters, shrimp and goby sets, as well as anemones with attendant clownfish, Blue-spotted rays, pygmy seahorses, and schools of fish such as anthias and barracuda.
At Amed Wall, discover white-tip reef sharks, Napoleon wrasse, Giant travelly and large schools of bannerfish, snapper, and fusilier, and at the deep slope just after the wall find invertebrates with crinoids and commensals.
Just 30 kilometers southeast of Amed, find the Japanese Wreck, a 20 m steel freighter wreck that is encrusted with sponges, Gorgonian seafans and coral bushes, and inhabited by anthias, parrotfish and angelfish. Or, dive at the Amed Ghost Bay, an artificial that is inhabited by, among others, Ambon scorpionfish, Ornate and Robust ghostpipefish, Mimic octopus, Wonderpus, frogfish, and stonefish. You just never know what you will find here!
If you do not want dive but want to accompany your group to the site, you may opt to choose the Non-Divers option. This option has the same inclusions as the Certified Driver except it will not be joining the diving part of the tour. Instead you will have free use of snorkeling gear so you may snorkel around the area.
After a day in the water, transfer back to your hotel, arriving at around 17:00.
For certified divers, a minimum Open Water certification is required to take this trip. Children can join as long as they are certified Junior Open Water divers. Diving certification card and logbook must be presented to dive staff on the first day of diving.
For Non-Divers, knowing how to swim is required. Due to strict PADI regulations, children must be at least exactly 10 years old to join (9 years 11 months not allowed).
Dives will be conducted with a client / instructor ratio of 1 dive guide instructor to a maximum of 4 guests.

Guests with ear, nose or throat issues will need a medical release from their physician to participate in this activity.
