What To Expect
Drive to Bannerghatta Biological Park for an exciting day of wildlife and adventure! A driver will pick you up from your hotel lobby and head straight to the park, which is around 24 kilometers from Bangalore. Once we arrive at approximately 08:45, you can go for a stroll while a representative arranges the Grand Safari ride and entrance tickets.
Visit the zoo while waiting for the safari which will commence between 10:00-10:30. A mini zoo was created in 1972, which gradually grew into the present Biological Park by year 2000. The Park was created with a vision to educate and spread awareness on the importance of conservation of floral and fauna.
Get your cameras ready once you board the safari! Our first stop would be at the Herbivore Safari which is an area dedicated to non flesh-eating animals such as bison and a large number of the deer family. We continue to the Bear Safari before heading to the Tiger Safari where you'll see spotted tigers and white tigers if you're lucky. There is also a special zone dedicated to white tigers including an artificial space for recreation. Spot some lions resting or taking a bath as we continue to the Lion Safari.
Drop by the Butterfly Park where you'll see monkeys and thousands of butterflies before having lunch at a local restaurant or at the Dosa Camp Area. Your driver will then drop you back to your hotel in Bangalore around 16:00 where services will end.
