Explore the Grand Palace and see three of Bangkok's most unusual Buddhist temples - Wat Traimit, Wat Pho and Wat Phra Keo - and their notable Buddha statues: the Reclining Buddha, the Emerald Buddha and the Golden Buddha.
Visit the Grand Palace and three of the city's most unusual temples.
Located at the heart of the city, the Grand Palace is the former residence of the Kings of Bangkok and one of the most beautiful samples of an ancient Siamese court. Explore the palace complex and see the marvelous structures like the the Funeral Palace, the Reception Palace, the Throne Hall, the Coronation Hall and the Royal Guest House. Discover the beautiful Emerald Buddha housed in the main building of the Wat Phra Keo Temple, aptly nicknamed The Temple of the Emerald Buddha (with other known spellings of Wat Phra Kaew or Wat Phra Kaeo).
See Wat Traimit, home of the Golden Buddha which, at its 3 meter height is the world's largest solid gold statue. Admire this fine example of Sukhothai style art before proceeding to Wat Pho, passing through Chinatown on the way. Wat Pho is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage, home to the Chedis of the Kings and is known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. This extraordinary Buddha statue is the largest in Bangkok (46 meters long and 15 meters high) and represents the passing of the Buddha into nirvana.
To end the tour, there will be a stop at a local lapidary factory and showroom where you may get locally made jewelry, handicrafts and silk at competitive prices.
Pick-up and drop-off service from listed hotels in Bangkok
This tour was great as it takes you to arguably all of the most recognised temples and the Grand Palace in just one morning. You still feel you have plenty of time in each place and the Grand Palace in the day time is stunning. Our group only had six people so was small, well organised, efficient and fun. I would highly recommend it as an affordable and good quality alternative to a private tour or going in bigger groups.

Me and my mom have enjoyed the tour. We chose Thailand to have a meaningful retreat from the past, and reminisce the wonderful mem...ories in Bangkok of my dad,who just passed away few months ago.
We didn’t have any single regret in choosing the package. Rather, we were astounded of how we experienced the vibrant culture of Siam in a short period of time. After the tour, we were ushered to the Gems Factory, where we managed to purchase precious souvenirs to bring home.
Perth, our tour guide was very accommodating. Although its raining, she maintained her grace-under-pressure.(no pun intended). We were glad that we had the chance to visit the Grand Palace less crowded than usual. We were dropped-off to the nearest and famous mall within the area of our hotel, which made our shopping experience in BKK hassle-free.
