Have a great time exploring the religious culture of Bangkok while picking up local snacks along the way on a diversity and harmony walking tour. Walk along the local food lovers’ paradise at the lively pier of Tha Din Daeng and sample street food favorites such as baked rice in clay pot, drunken chicken wings and spicy shrimp soup.
Afterwards, pass through the backstreets and riverside paths and visit the Princess Mother’s Memorial Park which contains memorabilia of the Princess and the Royal Family with a statue of the Princess at the pavilion. Then transfer to the Portuguese Catholic community where you can see churches built in the 1700s as legacy of Thai-Portuguese relations. See old houses and ancient communities on the Thonburi side then explore other local cultures while walking by Chinese shrines and mosques.
Your tour ends at Wat Kalayanamit area where you will have free time to roam around the riverside and take photos of the largest indoor sitting Buddha at the grand 200-year old temple.
