Being predominantly a Buddhist country, Thailand features over 26,000 wats (temples), three of which will be visited in this half day tour.
See the world's largest solid gold statue and admire the exquisite Sukhothai style art of the Wat Traimit - Temple of the Golden Buddha. Afterwards, pass through Chinatown to Wat Pho - Temple of the Reclining Buddha where you can marvel at the largest Buddha statue in Bangkok (46 meters long and 15 meters high), a representation of the Buddha's passing into nirvana. The temple is also known as the the birthplace of Thai massage and home to the Chedis of the Kings. Finally, explore the Wat Benchamabophit, also known as the marble temple.
