What To Expect
Discover Montjuïc, Barcelona’s most historic mountain and take the Teleferic de Montjuïc for great panoramic views of the sea and the city of Barcelona!
You can access the Teleferic de Montjuïc cable car station taking the funicular at Paral·lel metro station to the Teleferic or the Barcelona Bus Turistic Hop On Hop Off hopping off at the Montjuic Cable Car stop.
The Montjuic cable car goes up to the Mirador station (the midway station) and then to the Montjuic Castle station at the top of Montjuic mountain.
From the Mirador cable car station you will be able to visit the Mirador de l'Alcalde, a beautiful landscaped terrace with exceptional views to the Port of Barcelona.
Do not miss the Mossèn Costa i Llobera Gardens close by, which is a garden facing the sea and protected by Montjuïc hill, which specializes in cactus and succulent plants and is one of the most important in Europe.
At Montjuic Castle station, you will have the opportunity to visit the Montjuïc Castle, an old military fortress built on top of Montjuïc hill that dates back to 1640.
The Montjuic Cable car ticket is a return ticket that allows you to get off the Cable car at the Mirador station and to take it back to go to the Montjuic Castle station or to go straight away to the Montjuic Castle station and get off at the Mirador station on your way down.
The cabins are fully adapted for passengers with reduced mobility and have eight comfortable seats so you can come with all the family.
