What To Expect
Departure by AVE train to Madrid from the Barcelona-Sants train station. Arrival will be at Puerta de Atocha station in Madrid, from there you will be transferred to your hotel accommodation.
After breakfast, we will transfer to the bus terminal at Plaza de Espana, then head southward along the land of Don Quixote, the man from La Mancha. Along the way, we will be able to observe vast vineyards. We'll cross through the natural border of Despenaperros and finally reach Analucia, a region that shows enormous heritage from a splendorous past. Upon reaching Cordoba, proceed for a tour of its Mosque, and other sites that will ease our mind and spirit as we stroll through its narrow winding streets of the Jewish Quarter. After another two hour ride, we'll reach Sevilla where we will head for dinner and accommodation at hotel.
We'll have a monumental and panoramic city tour after breakfast. You'll be visiting the Seville Cathedral from outside, the Santa Cruz Quarter, which is a magnificent labyrinth of narrow streets and alleys, as well as the beautiful Maria Luisa Gardens. You will have some free time in the afternoon to discover exclusive views of the city. Dinner and accommodation follows. Optional Flamenco tour in Seville may be provided as well.
After breakfast, we will drive southward, passing typical villages to reach Ronda. Upon arrival, free time to admire this town of Celtic origin and marvelous view of the valley and mountain range. Continue onto Costa del Sol, one of the most modern and important international tourist areas. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
Soon after breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Granada and its incredible and amazing monumental environment. We'll be visiting the historic Alhambra (Red Palace) and Generalife Gardens which showcases the last stronghold of the Moorish Kingdoms. Dinner and accommodation follows. An optional Gipsy night tour in Granada is available.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for the Imperial City of Toledo after breakfast. This World Heritage Site is where the three cultures of Spain (Christians, Moorish and Jewish) have lived together. Here we'll have an interesting tour of the most important city monuments, its narrow streets and the famous "Damasquinado" (the art of inlaying different metals into one another). We continue to Madrid where services will end.
