Day 1: Barcelona - Palma de Mallorca
You will be picked up from your Barcelona hotel in the morning and transferred to the airport at the start of your tour. Upon arrival at Palma de Mallorca, hop on a comfortable minivan and take a short trip to your hotel.
Located over the seafront boulevard of Palma Bay, the Catalonia Majorica is 4-star hotel with an exterior swimming pool with sea views and a big solarium with a bar. The hotel, which counts 168 air-conditioned or centrally heated guest rooms, offers complimentary high speed Wi-Fi internet access, satellite television with pay-per-view movies, daily room service, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea.
Day 2: Palma de Mallorca
Start you day with a lovely breakfast at the hotel and then spend the day at your leisure.
Discover the historic homes of the capital of Mallorca as you stroll along the handsome streets of the Old City of Palma. Boasting monumental beauty and lavish impressions, the patios of the stately homes in the district remain untouched by time.
Overlooking the Old Harbor is La Seu (Palma Cathedral), a magnificent Roman Catholic Cathedral that radiates the glory of the city.
Take a quick stop at the Arab Baths and admire the carefully preserved baths with its impressive Muslim architecture before proceeding to Port de Soller, a delightful little village situated on Mallorca's harbor. Then, see the San Carlos Castle, a fortress built in 1684.
You may also take part in exciting excursions going to Porto Cristo, a small town on the eastern coast of Mallorca which boasts stunning beaches. Then, discover the most spectacular caves of Mallorca as you walk through the Caves of Drach, with its millennium-old stalactites and stalagmites.
Day 3: Palma de Mallorca
Take delight in a sumptuous breakfast and then spend the rest of the day as you please.
On your own and at your own expense, visit Bellver Castle, a 14th-century castle set high on a hill which offers a panoramic view of the city and Palma bay. Wander around the modern part of the city to visit interesting design and clothing shops, or visit the Fundación Juan March to admire the latest exhibitions of Spanish art.
Stroll along Passeig des Born, a famous tree lined promenade with lovely mid and high-range shops and cafés. Stop at the Olivar Market, a covered market with dazzling displays of flowers, huge piles of oranges, buckets full of olives and fish you never knew existed.
Then, visit Pueblo Español, an architectural museum designed like a small village containing facsimiles of the major classical works of Spanish architecture, showing its development through Muslim and then Christian influences.
Your Mediterranean adventure will not be complete without a trip to the beach. Visit Cala Agulla, one of the most beautiful beaches in Palma. Surrounded by pine trees and mountains, enjoy swimming through its deep blue waters or participating in several beach sports.
Day 4: Palma de Mallorca - Barcelona or Madrid
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel in the morning. In the late afternoon, your tour concludes with a transfer to the airport, where you may board a plane to Barcelona or to Madrid.
