What To Expect
After picking you up from your downtown hotel, we will follow the Limay river, a natural border between the provinces of Neuquen and Rio Negro up to Rincon Grande. There, we will check out the stunning Amphitheatre, a strange shape in the landscape, created naturally by the erosion, and that takes its name from its physiognomy, similar to a Roman circus.
We will continue towards Valle Encantado to discover other amazing shapes also created by the erosion and which names come from their shapes: God's finger, the Sentry, the Express Train and the Siamese among others. A few kilometres further we will reach Confluence, where Traful and Limay rivers meet. We will cross the bridge to the other side, and we will take National Route 65, famous for its beautiful landscapes, hills and valleys. Look at the exhuberant vegetation of the forest!
We will see the rivers Cuyin Manzano and Minero before reaching the charming Traful village and its peaceful lake for a 1-hour stop. With a little bit more than 80 houses, this cute and small village stands out thanks to a typical Andine-Alpine architecture, and is a real paradise for those who love fishing, hiking and connecting with nature. Take awesome pictures from the viewpoint above Traful lake, a not to be missed experience.
Then we will pass by the Quintupuray and the Correntoso lakes where the famous Seven Lakes route starts. Marvel at the incredible Mirror Lake, which takes its name from the quality of its water. Finally, we will reach the traditional village of Villa la Angostura. Explore its picturesque streets at your pace before going toPuerto Manzano.
At the end of the day we will take National Route 237 to get back to Bariloche.
