What To Expect
Nature can be quite striking. This very special tour takes you to experience the most beautiful parts of Nahuel Huapi National Park. Get ready to the plenty of forests, lakes, beaches, mountains and waterfalls!
After picking you up from the hotel, we will start our day trip by Gutierrez Lake and cross Pilmayen and Melgarejo streams. Take amazing pictures at the different stops made during the day!
We will follow the Manso River up to Pampa Linda. Do not miss the incredible natural wonders from the minibus and look at the exhuberant forest and the big blue lakes.
You will finally see the highest mountain in the area, Tronador, an inactive volcano that rises at 3,478 m.a.s.l. forming a natural boundary between Argentina and Chile. Just next to our viewpoint, discover some of the unusual natural phenomenons that occur in the region: the Black Glacier also known as Ventisquero Negro. It's an imposing dark glacier, despite being fed by a small river flowing from the spotless, white, Rio Manso Glacier, just several hundred feets higher.
This location is also the source of the Manso, a mountain river winding all the way down to the Pacific Ocean, flowing across rapids, waterfalls such as the renowned Los Alerces Cascade, a number of beautiful lakes and an incredible mountain scenery.
Witness another amazing natural phenomenon: the thundering noise of the ice blocks falling from the surface of Tronador: you will really believe there's a storm somewhere!
